How do I post to my blog?

To add a post, click the Post tab for your blog or use the Create a Post shortcut link for the blog on your Blogs tab.  This opens the Compose a New Post page.

How do I add an image to a post?

n the post page, click the Insert Image icon to pop open the image upload window.

Press "Choose File" to browse for the image file on your computer. After selecting the image, the name of the image will display in step one. You can leave it on "Use Default Settings" for the image options in step two and press the button that says "Insert Image".

This will then upload the image to your Friendster Blogs account and create the code for displaying the image in your post.

How do I create a link in a post?

The Create Link button makes the code for a link to another page or site from your post. Here is an example of a link: This is a link to Friendster.

To make a link, click the Create Link button. A box will pop up that prompts you for the URL you would like to link to. Type or paste the URL in the box and press "OK". The URL should be a full URL with the http:// in the front (for example, enter: http://www.friendster.com)

Next, you will be prompted to enter the text to link. Type the word or words that you would like to use for the link (for example, enter: This is a link to Friendster) and press "OK". The link will be created automatically in your post area. Note: when creating links in rich text mode, the Create Link button is pressed first before typing the word, instead of highlighting an existing word.

How do I change the date of a post?

After a post has been created, you can change the date or time of the post.  On the Edit Post page, locate the Posting Status area and click the clock icon.  For more information, see Changing the Date and Time of a Post.

How do I schedule a post to be posted at a specific date and time?

Post scheduling is available with Plus and Pro membership only.  On the Compose a New Post / Edit Post page, locate the Posting Status area, and use the drop down menu to select "Publish on..."  This will open the Set Date and Time popup.  For more information, see Scheduling a Post for Display.

How do I display the name of the author after each post?

Where do I set the number of posts to display on the main page?

On your Weblogs tab, click the Edit Configuration link for the weblog you wish to edit, then click the Display link to open the Display Options setup page.  For more information, see Setting Your Weblog Post Options.

My blog is not in English. Can I post in other languages?

Can I post to my Friendster Blog using a desktop client using XML-RPC?
